I'm willing to administer the wiki and help promote and aid its progress, but we need someone who can grant admin rights. If it is not done soon there's going to be a lot of vangalism and this is just not right.

If steward interface is fixed soon, you can make the request on request for permission on meta. If not... you should ask on wikitech-l@wikimedia.org
