There might be a half-automatic solution to the problem: 1. We agree that all DPs link to [[wikipedia:Disambiguation page]] or something. This needs to be done by whomever generates a new DP. 2. It would then be easy to find all DPs by their link to [[wikipedia:Disambiguation page]]. 3. Then, a special page could list all pages that link to these DPs (for example, all links to [[virus]]). These would be the pages that need to be "fixed" manually.

4. In a next step, there could be a list of all links from the DP (in this case, all the pages that [[virus]] links to) as a list next to each page that needs to be fixed. Choosing one could automagically fix the link.

Note that point 4 is a thing for the far future;)
