I'd like to request that the ang wikipedia be added to the tracking that the other wikipedias now enjoy (users, pages, edits, etc.).

Right, that makes sense. (tweak tweak) On the next backup+statistics run (next week?) it should include all available wikis instead of a large but incomplete subset.
