I'm going to be issuing warnings like this more often in the coming days. In encourage all good people to be particularly scrupulous about not insulting others under any circumstances. Let the bad people show their true colors and rise above it.

This is a welcome approach. It helps to get the "facts" on the table for a permanent record. The way some of these have been kicked around in the past has often obscured precisely what the problem is.
