I've just created a separate mailing list for discussion on the proposed Wikipedia / Wikimedia-based textbook projects. Those interested in this, please sign up at: http://mail.wikipedia.org/mailman/listinfo/textbook-l
If someone more into the subject wants to take over administration of the list, please do. (It's the usual list admin password.)

Cool, thanks Brion. But it does seem odd that Wiktionary doesn't have its own mailing list... I guess they don't have nearly as much to work out policy or otherwise.
I'll be the Admin but haven't a clue what the password would be. Could you send a private email to me with this information?
We still do need to clone you, BTW. ;)

Well, they don't clutter up the other lists so much with arguing about NPOV vs DPOV. ;)
If anyone *wants* a Wiktionary list, I can set one up.
(Note that I'm currently having trouble getting my initial message through to textbook-l@wikipedia.org, so I'm not 100% sure if I set it up right, though. Or, that may just be because there aren't any list members yet.)

Done.

Will this involve a secret offshore medical research facility in an undisclosed location with a mysterious, inexhaustable source of funding? If so, sign me up. :)

There's at least one now.

You forgot to ask for the mysterious woman to extract the DNA sample ;-D
