I agree.

Of course there are specific off-wiki channels for requesting oversight, contacting specific admins and functionaries and other purposes, and informal ones such as meetups both official and otherwise, but I think it's worth having this general-purpose one too.

And we've demonstrated that it's not dead, which was a reasonable question.
