OK - if I'm reading the current thread right I think we are chasing a red herring with 24.42.43.3.
Let me be crystal clear here: The user known as '24' used the IP 24.150.61.63 when he was banned many months ago NOT 24.42.43.3. I have only had dealings with 142.177.xxx.xxx NOT 24.42.43.3.
I'm not sure why 24.42.43.3 was listed on my talk page (I think they were tag teaming on a talk page). But just because 24.42.43.3 is not '24' doesn't mean that 142.177.xxx.xxx isn't. It was Axel who first brought the '24'/142 connection to my attention so he would probably be a better person to explain the connection.
Here is '24's "user page": http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:24.150.61.63

The writing style, choice of terminology, political bias, and using unneeded "w" links on talk pages of 142 is very similar to '24.' What is more telling is that both 24.150.61.63 and 142.177.104.168 seem be from the Toronto area (at least they both use Toronto hops). But then half of Canada could be using those same hops as far as I know. But on the face of it it does look like '24' has simply changed ISPs. There are too many coincidences to discount.

Wikipedia is too damn slow right now for me to do any real research but here are some links: . Something written by 142 which was later placed in meta (note the mention of us 'not using meta' ; '24' also charged the 'cabal' for this) http://meta.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabal

Yes. I dealt quite a bit with 24 back in the day, and I'm quite convinced that 142.177 is that same person. He has a certain extremely idiosyncratic cycle of ideas, including: * everything, even the philosophy of mathematics, is somehow tied to ecology. * everything having to do with "ontology", "foundation ontology", "ontological proof" etc. has a strong attraction * Euler's identity is held to have some deep significance for the foundations of mathematics * He likes to link to "cognitive bias", originially created by 24. * "Sacred geometry" is a favorite link target as well. That page was also created by 24.
Maybe the best place to observe all these features is [[folk mathematics]] and its talk page.
To be precise, I believe [[user:24]] is the same as

The guy is extremely fast and productive. There's a lot of cleanup to do.
