Can please somebody change the name of the Aromanian language ( http://roa-rup.wikipedia.org ) as it appears in Wikipedia's interlanguage links from "Armâneashti" to the correct spelling form "Armãneshce" ?
Also I wanna ask, how can this Wikipedia be transferred to rup.wikipedia.org , the correct Wikipedia adress as per ISO 639-2 Alpha 3?( http://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/englangn.html ) When it was created there was no ISO code for this language, but one was created. It is anyway a small Wikipedia so there should be no problem in movin articles.
Thanks

Small mistake, Armâneashti should be changed to Armãneashce not Armãneshce as I said in my previous message (Armãneashce not Armãneshce). I forgot an "a".

Wouldn't ISO 639-3 be more appropriate since it is expected that in due time it will replace 639-2?
Ec
ISO 639-3 for Aromanian is also rup.

Pleae someone (a developer) change the interwiki language name for Aromanian ( http://roa-rup.wikipedia.org ) from Armâneashti to "Armãneashce". The name "Armãneashce" is in the Crushuva dialect, wich was accepted at a meeting as the official dialect of Aromanian, and this meeting was held in Sofia, in the organization of the SEEMO (South Eastern European Media Organization) on the Aromanian language media conference. Secretary Oliver Vujovic, clearly pointed this out in his report after the conference. Also the form "Armãneashce" is written with the correct spelling rules (see http://www.armanami.org/lectsia1.php ).
Also please someone (a developer) move http://roa-rup.wikipedia.org to http://rup.wikipedia.org (with the correct ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 code).

Hoi, Do I understand correctly that Armãneshce is the same as Macedo ? The rup code is reserved for this language. If it is not, it is not acceptable to call this wiki rup.wikipedia.org. Thanks, GerardM
Not "Armãneshce" but "Armãneashce" (i forgot an a). Armâneashti should be changed to Armãneashce. Also Wikipedia should be moved to rup.wikipedia.org .
Summary: Language name (english): Aromanian; Macedo-Romanian; Romanian, Macedo
Language name (native): Armãneashce
ISO 639 alpha 3 code assigned for Aromanian (or Macedo-Romanian, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aromanian_language ) is "rup"

AFAIK, both variants are correct, but in two different dialects. I wonder how one can make an encyclopedia in that language, when there's no standard dialect...

Wikipedia is not an encyclopedia. It is a super-collection of (interesting) information.
In this sense, a wikipedia in Aromanian is quite useful for people interested in the language, but which are not professional linguists. It's probably the only place I could get in contact with the language.
As for the standard dialect: for a language that doesn't have one, if the editors don't start to fight, then it's OK for me. :)
