After reading the latest arguments about automatic redirects and such from www.wikipedia.org, I just want to emphasize that I want it to be a simple choose-your-language page, so that multilingual people would immediately see that they could contribute in multiple languages. Speaking more than one language, *really* enhances the Wikipedia experience because you see points of view that may be expressed by members of one language and not that of others. It's also one of my incentives to continue to study Dutch and Slovene...

After reading the latest arguments about automatic redirects and such from www.wikipedia.org, I just want to emphasize that I want it to be a simple choose-your-language page,
This a problem, because, somebody cannot understand "choose your language".
Automatic redirection solves this problem, transporting you to your language frontpage.
Later, in this page you can choose, using the language you understand, go to another page of a language you speak too, like or understand.
Regards.

Would anyone have difficulty understanding that a list of language names, including their own language _in its native name and script_, is a choose-your-language list?

Unless it chooses the wrong language, of course.
