No need to apologize! :) I feel like a kid on Christmass - I can't wait to edit with the new server config and see what that does to our Alexa ranking. It should go through the roof!

dedicated database server. this should lighten the load on the web servers and hopefully let us reenable some of the features that have been off for a while.

Remember what I said about induced demand? Alas our growing popularity will probably put us in the same pickle by June (which should be a couple months after the our 500,000 article press release boost).
