Maybe if the website seems slow to others, they too could report the
problem. For what it's worth, it does not seem to be any slower for me, and
I'm using a dialup connection in Russia! It would make sense for Jimbo or
Toan or whoever to look into the problem.

I do subscribe to the list but regettably I am not likely to contribute
any more to Wikipedia since the new server has become so horribly slow
