Betreff: Re: [Wikipedia-l] Indian wikipedia
There are Wikipedias for different languages. Do you have a
specific language
in mind?
I am not very well informed on the subject, but I am under the
impression that most
people (or most educated people?) in India speak English. There
is certainly no need
for a separate wikipedia for different nations which share a
common language. There
should not be an Australian Wikipedia, for example.
But perhaps you are asking why there is no wikipedia in some
specific local language
of India.
