My goodness, even Her Majesty's Stationery Office
can't manage to use the Queen's English properly!
Sorry to bring up such an obscure point of grammar
(especially one which I often refuse to obey myself),
but we Americans have a heightened sense of language
as it is used by our former colonial masters,
and when I read this letter aloud to myself
in my best attempt at John Cleese's "posh" accent,
the error just leaped (or leapt) out at me.
