When the site was down all last night, the mailing lists were as well. Are they being run on the same server or group of servers? If so, you might want to consider some separation there.

Yes, but... it's sort of a big job, and I'm not sure when I'll get the time.
The downtime was caused by, well, I'm still studying it. The machine was not down. But the network driver was freaked out. I suspect some kind of script kiddie exploiting something or other. The same thing happened to another one of my servers a couple of weeks ago.

both wikipedia and nupedia.com (which host the lists) seem to run on ross.bomis.com [130.94.122.195]. I agree that a separation would be more than desirable.
