Good idea. I would like to get another field 'author' - that's the second thing I think we should have, every image should have its copyright status AND the name of the person or institute that either holds the copyright or would hold it if the material was not in the PD.
It's obligatory on GNU/FDL, it gives a 'fair use' defense more chance, it is required by many who otherwise allow usage, and is at least common courtesy in other cases.

Information: information about the image: long description, tools used to make image, tools used to manipulate image, etc.
Better yet: I add the following fields for every image I upload:
Credit(s): Who gets credit for the image, i.e. the author(s)
License/Copyright: Is the image copyrighted, or PD? Is it licensed under some license? which one?
Source: Where did the uploader get the image from
I'm in the process of adding the full page histories to the McFly page. I'm also going to add a ===References=== section pointing to the wikipedia article. I've downloaded the huge (16 gigs uncompressed) history file. This should be finished by the end of the week. Hope this alleviates everyone's concerns.
