Since I am hearing several voices saying "invariant sections bad, linkbacks good" and no forceful opposition, I will go ahead and edit [[Wikipedia:copyrights]] and [[GFDL]] accordingly.

I approve. However, I'd like to point out that I regard this type of thing as part of my domain as benevolent dictator. That is, the invariant section policy of the wikipedia collection is something that I think I have the authority to decide, rather than being something that's open to any wikipedian to change at will.
As always, of course, I prefer to follow the community consensus, which this is. But, really, these kinds of meta-policy decisions need to be made in a fiarly formal way.
