The Anglo-Saxon wiki is up (thanks Tim, Angela!). I was wondering, how do I go about getting it on the statistics pages, and on the other languages' links?
We already have 7 users so far!
Thanks,
James

Need I say more? ;p
Does this mean a Gothic Wikipedia is a possibility, or no...?

Don't forget, the OE Wiki needs an article on Pokemon... ;)

I think it'd always remain a possibility. Developer-resource not withstanding, it ultimately comes down to the human resources that can be mobilized toward a pedia (i.e. number of active editors). The experience of editing small (well, okay, tiny) Wikipedias can be very different from editing en: or de: -- a bit like living in a village where you know everyone (and don't necessarily like half of them). Once the novelty has pretty much worn off, much of the motivation has to be internally-generated. Unavailability of a few key editors for any reason can suddenly plunge the pedia into the Dark Ages. On the brighter side, a Stubpedia (assuming it's not on the vfd Death Row) is also a bit like Asimov's The Foundation: it's a stepping stone toward Better Things.
...which in some respects is probably better than editing on en: or de:.
As far as human resources, one person at least has expressed a desire to create it, and on GOTHIC-L, I asked and got quite a few supportive responses.
And regarding dark ages on pedias: Can somebody make me a sysop on sa: even though I speak none? There are some tasks it needs done now rather than later. For example, most of its 1000-plus pages are former redirects with {{delete}} on them, or are 100% in English, or are just collections of links to other pages. Since I don't know Sanskrit, I can't tell if pages like their page on Oman is actually in Sanskrit or not, so I'd leave it alone for somebody else to handle in the future.
