The German wiki is growing too, but a bit more slowly:

And the Swedish wiki is growing...mainly due to the dogged efforts of Linus Tolke.
I think at this point if someone were to announce these wikis on the appropriate wikis and mailing lists, etc., they'd take off a bit more. Maybe a lot more.

Please don't announce de.wikipedia yet. As long as this link issue isn't resolved, this will disappoint more people (like the one/s who posted on de.wikipedias main page). If you want to, I'll announce the project on Nupedia's Deutsch-L (in German), but not right now. When the link issue is resolved, work will start. At the moment, de.wikipedia is just frustrating. (BTW: Last time I checked, it was even unreachable. Is that something serious or just the usual network congestion?)
