Yeah, it's longer, but it leads to far less confusion as to what exactly
I'm
disagreeing with. :)

This does not belong on the list.

Well, technically it should go on wikiEN-l but it would have been less abrasive just to ignore it. People haven't really gotten used to the idea of discussing English Wikipedia on wikiEN-l and global issues on this list.

It doesn't belong on wikien-l either. It's discussion that belongs on either talk pages or meta.

The Cunctator, who does not like the idea of list moderation, has just demonstrated what a good moderator would do. If every discussion like this (true meaning of anti-semitism) was tagged with a dry comment, "This discussion belongs on a talk page or meta", pretty soon we would see less and less of this sort of thing and the moderator would have improved the content of the list and the content of Wikipedia by her action, all without stepping on anyone's rights or stifling any discussion.
Maybe we should transform The Cunctator into The Moderator.

That's my point. It's possible to moderate without preventing people from posting, or by making people moderators by special appointment. It's everyone's responsibility.
But we're really just stuck with a scaling problem, and I don't think censoring posts is the right way to deal with the problem for Wikipedia.
