The lingua franca of meta is Englisch, when you devide it up, people who read meta will not necessaraly read relevant posts. This will undermine the usefulness of meta. At present there is little translated to other languages.

The only thing practical would be to have people indicate that an article is in XX language, and have a userpreference to indicate these articles for people intrested in that language.
