Hi,
The best statistics that I'm aware of would be these, which
unfortunately don't appear to include the duration of visits/edits:
http://stats.wikimedia.org/EN/Sitemap.htm
One thing you might want to consider is that some users also take to
editing offline. It's not uncommon for people working on featured
article candidates, or just generally copyediting, to print out the
article and do much of the work offline. Similarly, a lot of time can
be spent researching articles, which wouldn't be counted either.
It'd be a very interesting kind of statistic to have, but
unfortunately we'd only be able to measure one very arbitrary aspect
of it: how long people tend to make rolling series of edits at
Wikipedia. That wouldn't be a complete picture, and probably wouldn't
be useful either. :(
Cheers,
David

Hello everybody,
First of all, I wish all of you a very happy new year.
Now, my question:
Are there statistics on how much time users spend
editing wikipedia? For instance, when a user edits at
least once every 15-25 minutes for 10 hours, I would
say he/she spent 10 hours editing, which is cool.
I saw people doing better, and regularly. These people
are the true pillars of wikipedia.
Yours,
Dpotop
