What about a 'web-of-trust', whereby /all/
registered users can 'approve' or
'reject' a version of an article, and every registered user can select any
number of 'trusted registered users', and thereby articles appear
'approved', 'rejected' or 'undetermined', according to the
settings of
'trusted users'.
Which brings us back to my original proposal from last year:
http://mail.wikipedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2002-October/001089.html
However, I increasingly see this kind of filtering as problematic. We
should strive towards a common NPOV, not towards different "views" of what
is a good article.
