Re: [Wikipedia-l] Request for adminship

I've posted a request to the page Wikipedia:Requests for adminship, so I hope I'm not committing a transgression by posting here. The "Requests for adminship" page may not be read as regularly as this mailing list... <butt-kiss> I've been hooked on Wikipedia since I stumbled across it in August of 2002. After more than a year of contributing, I figure it's time to throw my hat into the ring and ask for permission to be a moderator. I promise to repeal the 2001 tax cuts, increase international cooperation in Iraq...errr, umm, wrong message. :) Actually, I'm hoping that my conduct over the past year has been sufficient to show that I intend to use NPOV in a manner that will hopefully prevent heated rivalries (and worse) in the more controversial subjects, as I've tried to do with my additions to the [[Scientology]] articles.
