One thing that immediately stands out is the number of interwiki language
links in the left navigation. Surely these should all be the same length,
but compare, for example, the Norwegian and Czech pages (which are next to
each other)...
This is not so surely. The German speaking Wikipedia perhaps decided to
list the most common used languages and smaller languages which are
spoken in German speaking regions only.
