If we're going to have an mo: encyclopedia (and it's not at all
obvious to me that this is the right solution), then it had better
allow the inclusion of text in the official Moldovan alphabet.
Elaborate concerns re: 'duplication of effort' may be premature,
considering how little time has been put into mo: and its 12 stubs.
But should WP really have a "Moldovan" Wikipedia?
Even in the Wikipedia subculture of language preservation (and
resuscitation), mo: is an anomaly. The Wikipedia article on the
subject says it all:

We may not wish Wikipedia to become a battleground for this kind of
