Larousse is also a trademark for a French
commercial encyclopedia,
http://www.encyclopedie-larousse.fr/
Utterly irrelevant. Larousse is just the name of a
famous historical
encyclopedist. It's a trademark only in its use as a
brand name to
sell encyclopedias. Since we aren't using the name
as a brand (we're
not using it for any public purpose whatsoever--it's
a private
internal machine name), there's no trademark issue.
A thought for those of you poor people who don't know
french.
Another spelling for Larousse is "La Rousse", which
could mean "Red Head" talking about a woman.
