Wikipedia has no legal right to "interpet the GFDL", when people save
text they give permission to use the text under a certain license, and
if you don't follow that license you're guilty of copyright
infringement.
It seems as though you don't understand the concept of interpretation.
Anybody has the right to interpret any legal text the way he wants.
This does not mean that his interpretation will be correct. What you
state is nothing more than your interpretation of what licensing is about.
