I'm having some trouble when uploading multiple photos at the same time, as the photos thumbnails aren't appearing after the upload. That forces me to fill the pictures data (IDs, names, etc.) without seeing the corresponding images, which is difficult if pictures for multiple monuments were uploaded.
Is this normal? Someone else has had this problem?

No, it's not normal; it's a bug with thumbnail generation on the cluster. See https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39975 if you're interested in the technical details.
The gist is this: This bug appears if you're using a browser that doesn't support client-side thumbnail generation (e.g. IE) or if you're uploading a batch that's greater than 10MB in total size.
We're investigating. WMF is having its all-staff meetings this week but Wednesday is a hack day, so I'm hoping we can carve out some time to look into this then.

Any news about this? I think this bug difficults a lot the uploading of multiple images at once.
Some participants have uploaded multiple images with invalid IDs, using a same, dummy ID for all of them; now I think they do that because they can't asign the correct ID to each image.

I think that's just because they were lazy and didn't bother to lookup the ids (sorry to disappoint you). If they were giving Image A the id for B and image B the id of A, that would indeed point to this bug, but not providing an id hardly does IMHO.

Did you look at the linked bug? (39975) I saw news there almost 2 days ago.

This turned out to be pretty hairy, sorry for the long time it took to get it resolved. It should now finally be fixed; please let me know if you're still seeing it.
Awesome. Looks like it's working now :D
Thanks!

Probably OFFtopic, but: Last week I uploaded almost 200 photos in many steps (using FF, one step is around 10 MB) with Upload Wizard, but I experienced the same issue and it was really disturbing.
An other bug I experienced with uploadwizard, that I could not copy the language definition (en, hu) and I have to set manually for every file (lot of time), but when I copied the description, the language definition jumped back to default value and I had to set it again.
A third bug I experienced few months ago: there is no thumbnail for large pictures (larger than 15MB), for example: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Brunszvik-kast%C3%A9ly_2.jpg --> https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b1/Brunszvik-kast%C3%... is disturbing in a gallery...

This is https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17645 : don't use interlaced compression. I've now reuploaded it.

It wasn't my picture (file), I just uploaded it for the author's request. I thought it was because of the size of the picture and I uploaded in a smaller resolution and size here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Brunszvik-kast%C3%A9ly_2_1.jpg , and I realized my smaller version is OK, so it was because of the file size. What a false conclusion! :)
Thank you for your information and reuploading!
