dear all,
as we have mentioned before we are looking for international media partners to promote the contest beyond our community boundaries. How would you feel about the idea, that these partners could present themselves through their logo (interactive / or not due to fiscal implications) on your respective national site? We do have a request running with National Geographic at the moment, to give an example of the kind of media partners we think of.
We are also planning to have an animated banner on the international WLM site on the left, where all our partners will appear in a loop of switching logos. We could offer you to integrate this feature to your site.
Please let us know your opinion.

That looks ok to me, for as long as we keep to choose the size and location on our website where to show them.
Also, make sure they provide the logo files with an explicit license statement allowing us to use their logo in pages/materials related to WLM.
Regards
But this will be very hard to promise, there will always be a few (or more) sites not showing the banner. So a promise on this is hard to give to the partner for all countries participating. Mvg, Bas

Dear Bas,
thanks for your reply. We will only offer that we will promote the idea among the national chapter WLM pages to integrate the partner logo into their sites. No obligation. But if no one does like the idea than we would not even say that.

As long as the sponsorship is important enough (and not a small company who just sponsor $1,000 for the international price), I will support mention them on our website also.
