Hi guys,
I felt like adding the National Register of Historic Places listings to the big monuments database. I created some templates to handle the entries and set up the database. Today wrote a little bot to convert current lists. Anyway, more info at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_National_Register_o... This makes it easier for the US to join WLM 2012 ;-)

This is great! I need to catch up on the post you made on the talk page, I will tonight hopefully (I am on holiday! Yay!)
Anything I can do to help, of course, it's been one of my "wiki-dreams" to make something like this happen in the US, especially as an active photographer of NHRP's!
I also love the template you created, I've been using it like...crazy (as crazy as you can get with NHRP'S!)

Awesome, it would be great if the US could join in on the WLM fun in 2012!
Maybe we can even get the Canadians in for Sue's benefit...
Thanks, Richard (User:Pharos)

Canada is in... We are currently working on this. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons_talk:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2011#Wor... http://wikimedia.ca/wiki/Projects/Wiki_Love_Monuments
We should bring that up at the GLAMcamp. Osmar Valdebenito & Itzel Polin López respectively from Chile and Mexico might be present at the camp... so we should also talk with them, in order to spread the word around Americas.

Great to see you also started exporing this! :-)

That sounds like a plan! After the camp I expect that other chapters will be actively contacted to ask them to join Wiki Loves Monuments 2012. We'll see :-)
