Dear friends,
I am happy to finally announce that Armenia is participating to WLM2013!
We were until now trying to find the list of monuments. And we did. The
state monument list that we are going to use includes 23.460 monuments.
We are now working to transfer this list to Armenian Wikipedia in the
form of wiki-pages.
For instance you can see the list for one of the districts of Yerevan
here
<https://hy.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D4%BF%D5%A5%D5%B6%D5%BF%D6%80%D5%B8%D5%B6_%D…>.
Also, we are wandering if we should use the list of natural monuments as
well (I didn't see any mention about natural monuments in our project
page on Commons).
Also we are preparing to launch the website www.wikilovesmonuments.am
soon and we are looking for sponsors/partners.
Because we are newcomers we will need your help and advices, especially
when it comes translating the tools in Commons.
Best regards,
Vachagan Gratian
Dear all,
Does this news change the plan for Wikilovesmonuments,
Switzerland stil have't decide whether or not we will have a WLM2013, but having the possibility to use Wikidata instead of list in different wikipedia could influence a lot our choice.
Sincerely
Charles

Dear colleagues,
We would like to confirm that Slovakia will also be participating at
WLM this year.
Thank you and best wishes to all the WLM teams. Hopefully, I will see most
of you at Wikimania.

Hello everybody,
I need help with the lists. I've been having some problems trying to gather
the lists from the cultural institutions because of different reasons(lack
of interest, no lists available, etc)
I wonder if I can include any official list in case any of the
organizations that have the lists can contact the
international organizing team.
Is it feasible, doable, posible?

We are different, but we can all feel love with the same intensity.
Dear members of international Wiki Loves Monuments community.
Wikimedia Czech Republic does want to participate this year in the contest. In 2012 we did - and we were successful - we finished on 7th place with more than 17k pictures. We would like to repeat this success this year - and perhaps reach even a better result.
The reason why I would like to renew this whole idea is a fact, that I've looked at Commons earlier this day - http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2013/Partici… <http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2013/Partici…> and our country is still listed as "possibly participating". We already have negotiated partnership with cultural institutions (Silesian museum and National Heritage Institute). Since 2012 there are more than 300 lists of monuments for each district or town/city on Czech Wikipedia.
We are ready.. (at least we hope so).

I am working on some draft Competition rules for the UK (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2013_in_the_…), and note from the main international website that there will be a special GLAM award this year. How will entries for that be submitted from the national contests? Can each country enter one photo for that award in addition to the usual 10? If so, we will probably need a special local award for that as well.
Regards
Michael

Hi I'm Dennis from Taiwan team
We need help about persuading companies to sponsorship. I'm here to ask
some questions.
Most company cares about the resources input and the output of promotion
statics. Is there anyone that can share their experience of previous years,
something like the presentation files, so the Taiwan team could get ideas
to convince the company ?
Kindly thanks to all of you
