Okay, thanks, both to Gerard and to Amir. I’ve understood now and approve.

Hoi, The idea is to start of with labels that descibe concepts native to Ottoman Turkish. However when people add labels to other items as well, I would not mind. Thanks, Gerard

If the idea is, for example, to give the spelling of a historical figure in Ottoman Turkish in the Arabic alphabet, then it's certainly acceptable.

Hoi Gerard,
Can you give us some more background to this request? If I remember correctly, there was some discussion a while ago about the difference between Modern Turkish and Ottoman Turkish. So what’s the deal with [ota] in Wikidata?
Cheers,
Oliver

Hoi,
I want to ask you for eligibility for Ottoman Turkish (ota) for use in Wikidata.
Thanks,
Gerard
