Hallo,
Surprisingly, this just happened today: The be-x-old.wikipedia.org http://be-x-old.wikipedia.org domain was renamed to be-tarask.wikipedia.org http://be-tarask.wikipedia.org domain.
Be it known that renaming the domains of Wikimedia sites is not impossible any more!
There are some fallout bugs, but nothing disastrous, and everything should stabilize by the end of the week.
I hope to see the rest of the domains with the non-standard (or not-so-standard) codes to go away in the coming months - als -> gsw, zh-min-nan -> nan, and so on.
no -> nb might be a bit controversial with the community, but I do hope that it will be renamed as well.
FINALLY \o/
