Dear all,
As you may know I have been working as Wikimedian in Residence for the past 3 years. I have been developing a process to use existing open license text in Wikipedia to help organisations share their knowledge and a metrics tool to measure results. Currently English Wikipedia has over 250 articles using UNESCO publication text.
Recently I worked with Wiki Education Foundation to create a course around this process. You can read about it here: https://wikiedu.org/blog/2018/07/06/university-students-are-collaborating-wi...
My colleague Celina Recalde who works at UNESCO’s Education Sector and myself will be presenting this project @Wikimania on Saturday 21 July from 11-11:30 in room Hong Kong. *How can experts share their knowledge on Wikipedia more easily: Using open license text to collaborate, a case study from UNESCO.*
We would be very interested to discuss with people working on education programmes how to include the reuse of open license text in their projects. We'll be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday at most times.
