At least some of you may be familiar with the '7 Things you Should Know
About' series of resources for educators. They are concise (~2 pp),
well-written information sheets, VERY widely read, & they've been around a
while.
Just last week a new '7 Things' resource was published titled '7 things you
should know about Open Education: Practices' & it mentions 'editing a
Wikipedia article' as a prominent activity. You might like to read more
