This autumn we hope to see this course:
http://kurser.ku.dk/course/hmea03174u/2013-2014
It requires ten students, which shouldn't be a problem :-)
If you don't read Scandinavian: Workshops will be held and the students
will have to pitch article proposals.
Regards,
Ole

Dr. Adrianne Wadewitz has written a great blog post[1] about some of the
gaps on Wikipedia and why students should edit to learn about how knowledge
is constructed. She also highlights ideas about how to use Wikipedia in the
classroom. Great post, Adrianne!

States and Canada.*
Hi all!
For the last few months, I've been working on an online training that
covers the basics of starting an education program. I'm pleased to say it's
finally live, thanks to the great wiki coding skills of Sage Ross.
* For those interested in starting a program, I'd *LOVE* for you to go
through the training. It will walk you through actually creating an on-wiki
program plan and offer advice based on the most common questions I've heard
from skype calls with people starting programs over the last three years.
But I may have missed things -- if there are still questions you have, I'd
love to hear what they are! If there are confusing places, I'd love to hear
where those are, too. If there's things that were specifically useful, I'd
also love to hear that.
* For those experienced program leaders, I'd love any feedback or
suggestions of things you've learned that aren't already incorporated in
the content of the training.
Here's the link to starting the training:
https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia:Starting_an_education_program
And here's all the content of the training on one page, which might be
easier to edit:
https://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia:Starting_an_education_program…
I'd love feedback on list or on the talk page of the second link (the edit
view one).
Thanks!
LiAnna
