You'd need to propose some alternative syntax to put an interwiki link on a page of these sites and make sure it doesn't conflict with some other feature on any project. I don't mean to be cold but this is what would have to do in order to avoid getting the same response.
Or working WYSIWYG that hides the syntax escape from the casual editor.
