I would make the minor technical point that this is not a code assigned by
ISO, it is an RFC 4646 language subtag, assigned by IANA.
So it would be worth rename be-x-old to be-tarask and
close the problem with
that :)
Would that be controversial? My apologies for not wanting to read and
understand the entire debate.
