This seems like a good place for us to have an
experiment in voting,
since it's a relatively minor issue, since there are a variety of
opinions, etc.
Sure, I'll put something on meta tomorrow. However, without proper
software support (i.e. a simple voting interface) the process of
collecting votes will always be cumbersome and prone to error.
