In the German WP we just had a discussion that a mascot (like Tux the Linux Penguin) for Wikipedia would be a nice idea.
What do you think? Ideas for animals, names, artwork greatly appreciated :-)
I thought that an owl would be appropriate: everybody familiar with greek mythology associates it with wisdom and the artwork, based on old Athenian coins could be easily done.
