Hello, how are you doing?
Is any of you attending Wikipedia Education Program Leaders Workshop
<http://outreach.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_Education_Program/Education_Program_Leaders_Workshop_2013>
next Thursday in Milano, during Wikimedia Conference 2013? (I guess
so :-) ).
I will be attending (unfortunately not the first hours because of
the flight) so I can share our experiencies in Catalan-speaking
territories in the field of Education, ie. Viquimodernisme (see
blogpost in Wikimedia blog
<http://blog.wikimedia.org/2013/03/21/viquimodernisme/>) or last
week's 35-hour-long edit-a-thon at Fundació Miró Museum in Barcelona
with Art and Philosophy university students. I'm also willing to learn
from similar experiences so we can all improve!
Looking forward to meeting some of you!
Yes I will be there, I will be glad to hear about the experiences of
everybody.
And hopefully to tell about the "wikis in the classroom" experiences
and possibilities not only for higher education students but for
younger pupils (that does exist including in primary education), and
the Wikikids proposal ;-)
Actually and more generally, I believe that you shouldn't wait to be
18 or 20 to be offered active learning methods...
Excuse me, I've been told, or at least that's what I understood, that
the Milano event was to be intended only by official chapter board
members, did I misunderstood?
