Hello everyone,
I'm new to this list, so I hope I'll be able to contribute. I work mainly on the Anglo-Saxon wiktionary, which now has over 1000 entries!
Thanks,
James

Hello James, welcome to the list. I'm sure you'll have plenty to contribute.
Congratulations on achieving that milestone! I've not worked on the Eald Englisc one, though I do love the language. I spend almost all my time on the English Wiktionary, though I have spent a small amount of time on both the Latin Victionarium and the Tok Pisin Wikseneri. I hope to one day have enough time to register an account on a number of Wiktionaries, but that will have to come later. :)
Now, I've rambled quite enough about my own affairs, so welcome again, and do make yourself at home.

Wytukaze,
There is nothing stopping you from making accounts on all the Wikimedia sites. That way your name will be 'reserved'. One day there will be one user account across all the Wikimedia projects, but we aren't there yet.

One user account for all Wikimedia projects? How could that work? There are already name clashes, what could they do about that? Or could you just make one user account and have it automatically put on certain other projects, too? I don't get it.

There would be clashes, and the difficulties over how to resolve those are the main reason single login hasn't happened yet. For more details, please see http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Single_login which lists a number of proposals and http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Single_login_specifications which has the most recently discussed proposal. The Research Team are actively looking into this issue, and the results of their last meeting on it can be seen at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Research_Network/Meetings/2005-06-18#Single_login
