Trying to access other wikimedia sites including en.wiktionary. org, scn, nl etc. I don't have problems - so what could be the problem?

Work is still ongoing on fixing some machines from Monday's outage and setting up the new machines we got last week.

When you connect to one of our servers, you get a list of multiple IP addresses to choose from; the client software attempts to connect to one of them. If that one is not responding, but all the others are, you may see this behavior.
