Do we have a Czech speaker here?
yes.
What does "Ježíšek" really mean - Father Christmas?
I am not quite sure what realy means Father Christmas.
I had an edit on it. wiktionary and I am not sure if this is a vandal or serious edit - He added that the Czech word means "Jesus, the child"
Thats correct.
I'm not a Czech speaker, but I can assure you it was a serious edit. In Czech Republic the one who brings presents is the little Jesus. Try searching "Ježíšek christmas" on google. The Chech word for "Jesus" is "Ježíš", see http://www.slovnik.cz/.
ježíšek (with lowercase j) is the word used for the gifts collectively
The phrase ,,Přejeme Vám ... a bohatého ježíška`` means, somewhat crudely translated, ,,We wish to You (pl/honorific) ... and a plenty of gifts.`` or ,,... and rich distribution of presents`` in a more literal way.
