Hi Danny, Hi all,
First of all: Merry Christmas!
Well, one thing you should appreciate is: the OmegaWiki contents can be used in any Wiktionary thanks to the double license GFDL and CC-BY. So any step ahead that is done with OmegaWiki is also a step ahead for Wiktionary. There is space for all projects and there are people who feel at home on one or more of the various Wiktionary projects and there are people who feel at home on one or more of the various Wikipedia projects and there are people who feel at home on OmegaWiki as well as many other valuable projects. Many of us work on various projects.
My personal way of doing thing is live and let live and, time permitting, help others to live. The fact that OmegaWiki is not within the foundation does not mean we do not co-operate, the contrary is the case. I repeat: it is a project with free contents and we are happy to co-operate with people to make things happen.
One thing all of us have in common is the believe in a better world, in a world that gives equal chances to all, in a world with free contents that help people to live better by having better possibilities for study, information, education and so much more.
I think we all agree in that - otherwise: why would we work for the Open Source and Open Content world? Aren't we idealists wanting to change the world with each minute we dedicate to the various projects we are in?
At this stage I would like to say: Thank you! to all contributors of any free project.
Well ... going back to play with my kids :-) I hope I will be able to access Internet again later this evening.

This is a Wikimedia mailing list. You should probably save the news for an Omega Wiki list.
