but it doesn't. Obviously it's because of the problem I already brought up half a year ago about msg and linkback tables.
Is there a way to actually update the whatlinkshere tables? At least weekly or so? It would be _extremely_ nice to have that in working order. It is not a solution to "go and edit them once" since I cannot FIND them without the whatlinkhere, and that's the purpose of the stuff anyway. :-)

That was the requested behaviour, it's working properly. Originally there were problems with updating the link table -- links within msg tags were registered in the link table, then not updated when the message itself was updated. People complained, and one particular solution was particularly popular.
The link cache is disabled while processing inclusions, thereby preventing any links within the message from being entered into the link table. Additionally, a link is registered pointing from the article to the message. If you go to:
http://hu.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Speci%C3%A1lis:Whatlinkshere&...
You'll see that [[Magyar uralkodók listája]] is listed there.
One problem still remains with inclusion, and that is that the squid cache and client cache are not cleared when included messages are updated. This is fixed in CVS.
