Since for now the nonprofit organization is just me spending money for fun, feel free to send me domain names that should be bought. I think it's important to get them before spammers do.
We can get .com, .org, and .net (and I think .fr and maybe some others) from GANDI.net for a whopping 12 euros a year; I have two domains registered there, and they seem to be both efficient and reputable (no spam, for example). This may not be the best price available, but it's pretty good.
