Traffic is up a bit from the Wired article etc, so I've put back the static main page to help improve response time.
As you may recall, the static version of the page can't show that you're logged in, because it's just a file on a hard disk and can't check your login cookie. The "Click here if logged in" link takes you to the live main page, which _does_ show if you're logged in.
The intent was to avoid another round of "hey, every time I go to the site I'm logged out even though I said remember my password!" complaints.
