I thought "wiki" is about dynamic texts, but printed PD books are static (okay, you can tweak the layout ad infinitum, but that's something different).

Yes, that's sometimes annoying. By now there are search interfaces to jump directly to file, though. Once the first 10,000 text are done (end of the year), they will focus usability issues and switching to XML.
