Timwi, the Wikipedia is now completely accessible from China. The access was gradually reinsated a few weeks into June.
As is the case with these type of stories, the block gets lots of fanfare, the lifting usually does not. Also typical is that there was no official explanation for why the block was put in or lifted. Here is the article and quote by Jimbo which helps explain some of this: http://www.chinatechnews.com/index.php?action=show&type=news&id=1350

The first organized meeting of Chinese Wikipedians will be happening in Beijing this weekend, on Sunday. Thanks to User:Mountain for helping to organize this.
Is the whole thing with Wikipedia being blocked in China over now? Is it completely accessible for everyone again? And how big are the chances of this happening again?
These are just questions out of curiosity.
